Privacy Policy
What Cosmic Shore collects, why, who handles it for us, and how you can switch it off or have it deleted.
The short version
Gameplay analytics and crash reports switch on only if you’re 13 or older and you agree. You can turn them off any time in Settings.
Other players can see the display name and avatar you pick, in parties, friend lists and leaderboards.
The game has no ads and no ad tracking. We don’t sell your data.
Ask us to delete your account and data from the Delete My Data page.
Who we are

What we collect
The game runs on Unity Gaming Services from Unity Technologies. There’s no sign-up: the first time you open the game, it creates an account for you automatically.
| What | Details | When |
|---|---|---|
| Player account | A random player ID and sign-in token created on first launch. No email, phone number or password. | Always |
| Display name and avatar | The name and avatar you choose. Other players can see them, and other players can search names to check one isn’t taken. | Always · public |
| Saved progress | Your profile (crystals earned and spent, rewards, unlocked vessels, games completed, flight time, number of sessions, first and last played, game version and platform), mode progress, weekly challenges, quests, loadouts and settings. | Always |
| Friends and parties | Friends, friend requests and blocks; your online status (including which part of the game you’re in and your vessel); party invites and party membership. | While online |
| Leaderboards | Your weekly-challenge completion time, shown with your display name and avatar to all players. | When you finish a challenge |
| Connection data | Your IP address, which Unity’s servers see when they connect you to other players. | While online |
| Gameplay analytics | Events such as sessions, modes played and results, menu use, settings changes, and social actions (for example, sending a friend request, including the other player’s ID). Sent with your player ID, a random install ID, game version and platform. Your display name, avatar, crystal balance and progress totals are attached as profile details. | Only with consent, 13+ |
| Crash reports | Error details, the last few lines of the game log, and device details (graphics card, processor, memory, operating system, game version). No player ID. | Only with consent, 13+ |
| Hardware statistics | The Unity engine reports basic hardware information (such as graphics card, operating system and memory) when the game starts. | Always |
| Support messages | Whatever you send us when you contact support, plus your email address. | When you write to us |
The game also keeps some data on your device: your settings, your consent and age answers, a copy of your saved progress, and any analytics waiting to be sent.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone, and the game has no voice or text chat, no ads and no in-app purchases.
Analytics and your consent
The first time you play, the game asks for your birth year. If you’re 13 or older, it then asks whether you’re happy to share gameplay analytics. We keep only your answers (13+ or not, yes or no), not your birth year.
- If you agree, the game sends analytics to Unity Analytics and to PostHog (on PostHog’s EU servers), and turns on crash reports through Unity Cloud Diagnostics.
- If you say no, or you’re under 13, none of this is sent. Nothing is saved up to send later.
- To change your mind, open Settings → General → Analytics. Turning it off stops collection straight away and throws away anything not yet sent.
Turning analytics off stops new data. To remove what was already sent, ask us to delete your data.
Children
Cosmic Shore is not directed at children under 13. Players who tell us they’re under 13 never send gameplay analytics or crash reports.
Players under 13 can still play, so the game still creates their account and saves their progress, and the display name they choose is visible to other players. If you’re a parent and want your child’s account deleted, use the Delete My Data page or email PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL.

This website
www.froglet.games uses Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag to count visits and measure our ad campaigns. When they run, they set cookies and send Google your IP address, browser details and the pages you visit. The trailer on the home page is a YouTube video; YouTube loads only when you press play.
You choose whether these cookies run. On your first visit we ask you to accept or reject them. In the EU, UK and Switzerland they stay off until you accept; elsewhere they run unless you reject them. Change your choice any time with Cookie Settings at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser.
International transfers
Unity processes data in the United States and other countries; PostHog stores our analytics in the EU. Where the law requires it, transfers are protected by safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. COUNSEL TO CONFIRM
Security
Data is encrypted in transit between the game and our providers, and access to our dashboards is limited to the team members who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us if you think something is wrong.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. If a change affects what we collect or how we use it, we’ll tell you in the game before it takes effect.
